Late Night Noise -- March 7, 2022 [Mark Lanegan tribute & (almost) all vinyl]
It's my first show since Mark Lanegan passed away. While searching for some Lanegan stuff that sounded weird and Late Night Noise appropriate, we came across a pretty strange and rockin radio session taped between their 2nd and 3rd SST albums. Works for us!
This session plus a couple other new tracks (at the beginning) fucked up our plan to do an "all vinyl" special, which we figured would last longer. But yea everything after the Screaming Trees session is all vinyl, which wasn't that many songs now that I'm actually looking at it, and hence not super impressive -- plus most of these are artist we have played before multiple times. So it was a fun show overall but I think we need a greater challenge.
HUGE NEWS: We've decided next week will be NOTHING BUT TAPES. Possibilities for lofi weirdness are abound. Stay tuned!

Late Night Noise -- February 14, 2022 (Shoegaze Special for Valentines Day)
Late Night Noise has been delayed for a few weeks. The night of Monday Feb 21 fell on alumni weekend, and we were out of the state on Feb 28. We'll be back throughout March with a series of shows focusing on vinyl and tape collections. Come join us!
Our most recent show on Feb 14 was an all-shoegaze special -- a sequel of sorts to our Valentines special from February 14, 2011 when we played a countdown of 33 shoegaze classics. We've been told shoegaze sounds appropriate for Valentines Day for a number of reasons. Apparnetly it makes people want to bone. Plus, a handful of killer shoegaze jams were released over the past 11 years, and we felt like our shoegaze canon could use an update.
