Late Night Noise -- November 15, 2021

Kinda nothing really special at all this week. Arrived with no plan and a few records. Played Side A of the Coneheads album all the way through, and in the last hour we aired a couple blocks from a March 2013 show that we somehow hadn't recycled yet. Weird stuff for sure.

We had totally forgotten "Highway Kicks" -- a track that we once had in mp3 format that we've since misplaced, and currently cannot find anywhere through Google searches. We're also pretty sure we don't have the correct artist name, so that info would probably help.

Oh yea, we actually did play one new song this week -- the mandatory basedgod thing.

Late Night Noise -- November 1, 2021 (MBV, Teenage Fanclub, mysterious conspiracy yacht death)

30 years ago this week was 11-04-1991, the day Creation Records released My Bloody Valentine's Loveless and Teenage Fanclub's Bandwagonesque, on the same day that publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell, father of Ghislaine Maxwell, was found floating in the Atlantic Ocean under mysterious circumstances -- presumably thrown off a yacht that he named "The Lady Ghislaine."

So we honored this day by playing a few of 3-in-a-row blocks with an MBV track and a Teenage Fanclub track followed by a yacht-rock classic, plus lots of new stuff mostly found on Matt Korvette's blog.
