Sick shows coming up this week

We don't normally do this, especially over the air since WXCI has bizarre and ever changing restrictions about "advertising" for upcoming shows. However, this blog is not broadcast over the air, and I'm pretty sure the staff of Late Night Noise is okay with personally endorsing two really huge shows coming to New Haven within the next week...

Monday March 25 at Fort Flesh:
Spelling Bee (from St Louis, MO)
Arvid Noe (from Boston, Mass)
2 Ton Bug (formerly from New Haven, now from Brooklyn, unless we're mistaken)
Old Man Lady Luck (from New Haven)
Tomb and Thirst (from New Haven)
...and featuring hosts and MC's Lowt Ide (described by at least 3 people as "the best thing to ever come out of Trumbull" which means that at least 3 people think Lowt Ide is better than The Vinnie Vincent Invasion)

Fort Flesh is quickly becoming one of the premiere house spaces in New Haven. (We were there a few weeks ago for Pile, Sperm Donor, Fax Holiday, Ovlov, Speedy Ortiz and Ports of Spain - possibly the best house show we've ever seen in New Haven.) Monday's event is taking place at the same time as the next edition of Late Night Noise, and so we've decided to broadcast from this event. If you can't make it out to the show, at least Late Night Noise will still be amazing, and we'll be playing songs from all the bands n stuff.

Also later next week...

Thursday March 28 at Elm Bar
Friend Collector (from Baltimore, Maryland)
Curse (from Baltimore, Maryland)
Shot In The Head (from New Haven)

Again, we don't normally endorse shows this much, but we'd be lying if we weren't pumped as fuck about this show coming to Connecticut... Check out music from any/all of these bands whenever you get a few minutes.

wtf there's a new arvid noe EP! we had no idea this happened until just now:
